Islwyn "Izzy" Davies is a Welsh former professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s who at representative level has played for Wales, and at club level for St. Helens, and Warrington, playing at Wing, or Centre, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 3 or 4.[1]

International honours

Izzy Davies won a cap and scored a goal for Wales while at St. Helens in the 11-24 defeat to England at Anfield, Liverpool on 10 April 1935.[2]

Club record

Izzy Davies held Warrington's most tries in season record with 34 tries set during the 1938–39 Northern Rugby Football League season, the 34th try coming against Oldham on 29 April 1939.[3]
